![]() Well, i just gave some info about my particular card. I would send people to forums like HardForum, Anandtech Forum, (especially here with card owner threads) instead of just giving out what works for you. You can't make a blanket statements about overvolting and overclocking like you did here. If you need some extra help, just leave a comment below. At my actual clock rate, +91mhz, no issues. At +104mhz ran 3Dmark without problems, but Battlefield 4 crashed. If you get any artifact ingame, crashes or something like that, lower a little more the clock.Įxample: my clock at +117mhz got some artifacts on 3Dmark. When thats done, play some games normally. When you get those artifacts, lower the clocks until you dont get them anymore.ĪLWAYS MONITOR THE TEMPERATURE. Raise your core/mem clock until you get artifacts (black screens like sparks, random colours, or any weird thing.). Get any benchmark utility, like Catzilla, 3Dmark (my preference), etc. But you will have to find out your gpu limit by yourself. I mean, that if you set voltage to 1.3v but your card its cooled to 40 degrees, it wont reduce the gpu life like if it were at 80 degrees.Ĭlocks: In my particular gpu, i can set the clock up to around 90mhz and memory about 200mhz. ![]() Also, know that 1.3v wont harm your graphics card instantly, but could reduce the GPU life (depending on the temps). In my opinion, 1.250v its ideal for 24/7 OC. The ideal for OC its less than 80✬, between 70-75 its nice.Ībout Voltage: Set voltage first to 1.212v (its the standard voltage, you can also set less but its a nonsense). Hi, i just wanted to make a little tutorial for OC beginners, first of all, excuse me if my english its not perfect, because im from Spain :PĪbout temps: the cooler, the better. ![]()
